Longines has unveiled the new Longines Spirit Zulu Time, an updated version of the Longines Spirit collection model that complements its predecessors.

Its name and origins date back to the first dual time zone wristwatch produced in 1925, featuring the Zulu symbolon the dial (in reference to the letter Z representing universal time in aviation and the armed forces).
Featuring a steel case smaller of 39 mm, it offers a compact and comfortable design, with a 21 mm width from lug to lug and a thickness of 13.50 mm. The dial is available in various options, including matte black, sandblasted anthracite and sun blue, with a date window positioned at 6 o'clock and a bezel with coloured ceramic insert.

The flagship model features a bi-directional rotating bezel and an 18K yellow gold crown, along with a brown ceramic insert and a gold-plated GMT graduation that lend it a unique aesthetic appeal.

Other design details include hands and Arabic numerals coated with Super-LumiNova® old radium for a vintage touch.
The watch comes with a stainless steel bracelet and also offers the option of using interchangeable NATO brown or brown leather straps with cream stitching. The Longines Spirit Zulu Time represents Longines' expertise in the field of time-zone watches, drawing inspiration from the first wristwatch with two time zones produced in 1925.

This new model testifies to the brand's pioneering role in the sector and offers a combination of style, functionality and high-quality performance. The time-zone display is driven by an exclusive Longines calibre with a silicon balance spring.
The brand has also upgraded two components that, like the silicon balance spring, are made of non-magnetic material, which allows it to be certified as magnetically resistant to fields of 600 to 800 gauss: its performance will not be affected by the numerous magnetic fields that are increasingly present in our daily lives.
