Murano Glass Creations
Ivan Baj (Italy, 1957) is a glass artist who trained as a ceramist at Rosenthal and Ginori in the 1970s. Encouraged by his friendship with Anna Venini and Laura de Santillana, Mazzotti later turned his creative gaze toward Murano glass. Baj has been the founder and creative director of the Arcade brand since 1989. From his travels and encounters with people and places, Ivan Baj brings forth unique creations—entirely hand-modelled and blown in Murano by master glassmaker Andrea Zilio.
