In the 12th century, small oil lamps called 'Cesendei' were used to illuminate the dark Venetian streets. However, they were not sufficient to illuminate all areas. In 1732 came the turning point: the Venetian government decreed that the city should be illuminated with 843 'ferai' and the 'bollegheri' were the people in charge of lighting them.from this evocative historical journey of Venetian lighting takes its inspiration for the new 'ferai' collection.a combination of geometries, refined colour nuances and finishes that recall the typical archetypes of Murano tradition.
