Reverso Tribute Faridun Tests His Sons

Inspired by the tales of illustrated Persian literature from which it takes its name, the Reverso Tribute Enamel Shahnameh watch is both original and mysterious. Crafted in our Métiers Rares™ workshop, the two faces of the watch are the result of a know-how that combines different techniques. On the front, the herringbone hand-guilloché dial is Grand Feu enamelled in a blue colour that recalls elements of the epic scene on the reverse, taken from the Book of Kings (Shahnameh in Persian). Under a gold “pailloné” enamelled sky (24k, 999/1000), three young riders are put to the test by their father, who has been transformed into a dragon. On the front, the enamelling requires 5 coats and 7 kiln passes. On the reverse, the miniature reproduction on enamel requires 100 hours of work and the use of a dozen colours.
