Venini hourglasses are a poetic interpretation of time, created in 1957 from the vision of Paolo Venini and Fulvio Bianconi and made according to the Murano glassmaking tradition. The sand slowly slips between two pieces of mouth-blown glass, suspended in perfect balance between yesterday and today. Each piece is created using the complex incalmo technique, which joins two still-hot blown forms to create a unique object with timeless elegance and refined colors. The hourglasses are not only instruments for measuring short intervals, but authentic symbols of beauty and contemplation, capable of transforming any space with their delicate and harmonious presence. Made in Italy, they represent the craftsmanship and innovation of Venini artistic glass.
