Description
Part of the Sovereign Collection, this Extrait de Parfum is inspired by the Garter Star, which was presented to the future King George VI of the United Kingdom in 1923 by the Royal Navy when he married Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon. Queen Elizabeth II was appointed to the Order of the Garter in 1947 by her father who presented her with the same Garter Star he was given at his marriage. Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II continued to wear her father’s Star until she passed away recently.
Reflecting on the attributes of the Garter Star, Insignia represents a certain aura of British aristocracy, like an heirloom. The ingredients epitomising timeless elegance and grandeur, such as Vetiver combined with a unique upcycled Sandalwood that is intertwined with an original leather accord, Cuir Velours de Laire.
