Produced in a limited edition of eighteen pieces exclusively for Astrua, Venini's Clessidra Asimmetrica is only available in our boutiques or on our website. The blazing furnace burns at a thousand degrees Celsius. The master glassmaker plunges the crucible with a steady hand - the same gesture passed down for over a thousand years. Inside, the purest silica sand yields to the heat: it melts, liquefies, and is reborn like a phoenix into a shimmering kaleidoscope of molten colour, blown by mouth and hand-shaped into the contours of an asymmetrical hourglass. Sand within sand—an archetype of passing time, constantly transforming, uniquely perceived by each observer.

Born from the collaboration between Astrua and Bric’s—an international pinnacle of artisanal luggage and Italian excellence—the Astrua Weekend collection is presented in Limited Edition. The entire collection is crafted from dollaro-grain calfskin, elegantly finished inside with a custom Astrua jacquard lining. The double zippers, finished in yellow gold, are completed with Astrua’s signature design element: the “Mykonos pebble”, echoed in the bold, rounded buckles as well.
