The history and importance of the Scatola del Tempo revolve around the figure of Sandro Colarieti, a textile entrepreneur, collector and watch lover, who turned his passion into a successful idea. It all began in the late 1980s, not from specific business dynamics, but from a real need of Colarieti: the search for a case to protect his precious watches. The only solution was to create one especially for him, completely handmade by expert craftsmen using only the best materials.

From the first few pieces, made for himself and his friends, it was a short step to the demand for large-scale production. With the same natural approach as in the beginning, Scatola del Tempo still creates its exclusive products proudly upholding a tradition of originality and internationally-recognised quality.
