In 1979 Piaget unveiled the Maison's first sports elegant watch, a timepiece that would come to define the spirit and elegance of the 1980s. Now, 45 years after its firts appearance, this historically watch is reborn as the Piaget Polo 79. Back then, for the first time in its history, Piaget officially gave one of its models a name: Piaget Polo, echoing the eponymous jet-set sport and a glamorous art of living. The Piaget Polo 79 returns to the purest expression of the original design, albeit with a few subtle updates. With its avant-garde design, fully gold case and bracelet, alternating matte and polished surfaces, the watch retains its emblematic touches.
