The Luminor PAM01732 draws on Panerai’s historic “Destro” configuration, developed to meet the operational needs of military divers. By positioning the crown guard on the left side of the case, the watch could be worn on the right wrist, leaving the diver’s dominant hand free to use essential tools such as a compass or depth gauge. This design solution embodies Panerai’s historic approach to watchmaking, where every element is shaped by functionality. Reinterpreted in a contemporary 44mm format, the PAM01732 retains the spirit of professional instruments while updating their character for modern use.
