The blazing furnace burns at a thousand degrees Celsius. The master glassmaker carefully inserts the crucible with a confident gesture, the same one used for over a thousand years.

Inside, the silica sand is transformed by the heat: it melts liquefied and is reborn in an iridescent kaleidoscope of coloured magma.

The master breathes life into the molten glass with his blowpipe, then skilfully shapes it with ancient tools, blowing and moulding the still-soft, pliable glass until it takes its final form.

In just a few moments, a unique work of art is born: Murano Glass.
