Most Illustrious Cini Boeri Sculpture (Elena Salmistraro)

Most Illustrious is a tribute and a thank you to the masters of Italian design.
A collection of three-dimensional figures made by Bosa in ceramic, finely decorated with colored glazes. In Elena Salmistraro’s interpretation, Cini Boeri is portrayed with her typical hairstyle and scarf tied around her neck: the body shapes are designed by borrowing the three-dimensional elements of two iconic products, the Serpentone sofa and the Botolo armchair, together with the fabric games that characterize her language. This sculpture is defined by elegant and fluid curves to represent the avant-garde vision of this protagonist of Italian design and architecture, at the time one of the very few women in the sector.
Totemic objects that combine the characteristic features of the designers and the works that made them famous throughout the world, to underline the unique relationship that arises between the designer and his projects: “we are what we create”.
