The Collection
In the Ecuadorian province of Manabí, there is a small town with a great reputation. Located in the hills, not far from the coast overlooking the Pacific Ocean, a very fine, supple and shiny straw has been woven here for more than three centuries from the fibres of a native palm tree.
The name of this country is Montecristi, universally recognised as the birthplace of Panama hats.
