The history of the Clifton collection

Launched in 2013, the line was conceived as a classic-contemporary proposal, inspired by aesthetic codes already defined in the 1950s by the Maison: round cases, essential dials, noble materials for a sober balance and a lasting style aimed at an urban gentleman attentive to the quality of craftsmanship and proportions.

The turning point came in 2018 with the introduction of the Baumatic system, a manufacture movement designed to deliver maximum precision in everyday life: 120 hours of power reserve, resistance to magnetic fields up to 1,500 gauss, frequency of 4 Hz and water resistance up to 5 ATM.

In 2025, the collection evolves, continuing consistently along the stylistic path already defined, refining the case with slimmer proportions, domed sapphire crystal, integrated crown, Arabic numeral at 12 o’clock, date display at 6 o’clock and details that echo the 1950s, such as the central “crosshair” motif on the dial. The introduction of the integrated steel bracelet and the decisive shift to a 39 mm diameter for the three-hand models reinforce balance and wearability.

Today, the Clifton collection represents one of the most balanced syntheses between Swiss tradition and contemporary innovation.

- Clifton 10792: A 39 mm steel case and a gradient blue dial with date at 6 o’clock. The revised proportions and alpha-shaped hands are the ideal choice for the modern man seeking a union of classic and contemporary.

- Clifton Baumatic 10725: This elegant watch with a polished 42 mm steel case features a lacquered gradient blue dial with a moon phase opening at 6 o’clock, set against a starry sky on a rhodium-plated, polished and black lacquered disc depicting the moon. The day is displayed in an aperture at 12 o’clock, opposite the date positioned at 6 o’clock, in perfect symmetry. The dial is marked by slightly elongated trapezoidal, riveted and rhodium-plated indexes. Powered by an automatic manufacture movement, it ensures impeccable precision.

- Clifton Baumatic 10758: Moon phases and date at 6 o’clock on a gradient grey dial, housed in a 39 mm steel case.
