Paying tribute to the world’s highest peaks and the alpinists who dare to climb them enduring extreme conditions, the Montblanc 1858 Automatic Date 0 Oxygen The 8000 is housed in a 41mm stainless steel case totally devoid of oxygen. This has several advantages for explorers by eliminating fogging and preventing oxidization, thus allowing the movement to last far longer with greater precision. The timepiece is powered by the automatic caliber MB 24.17 and comes with a black ceramic bezel with luminescent cardinal points, a dark gray Sfumato glacier patterned dial with orange accents, blue luminescence and a case back featuring an engraving of the “Spirit of Exploration”. Like the other models in this capsule collection, The Montblanc 1858 Automatic Date 0 Oxygen The 8000 comes with an interchangeable tapered stainless steel bracelet with a fine adjustment system.
